Privacy Policy
Kolaj is a collage, story and poster maker for iOS, with business features such as a brand kit, price lists and listings. This page explains what happens to your data. The short version: your photos never leave your device, and we collect only anonymous usage numbers.
Who we are
Kolaj is published by Nil Amber Uğur (Turkey), who is also the data controller. You can reach us at privacy@appacnera.com.
What stays on your device
The following data is processed and stored only on your device, inside the app's own storage. It is never uploaded to us or to anyone else.
- Your photos. You choose them with the system photo picker, and Kolaj only receives the ones you pick.
- Your projects and exports.
- Your brand kit: shop name, logo, colours, social handle and order line.
- Product background removal. It runs on your device using Apple Vision, so the photo is not sent anywhere.
Anonymous usage data
To understand which features are used and to fix problems, the app sends anonymous usage events to our own server. For example: a screen or feature was used, a collage was created, an export was completed.
Each event comes with:
- a random install identifier generated by the app (it is not your name, your Apple Account or your advertising ID),
- the app version and the platform (iOS),
- your device language, region and currency.
We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, advertising ID or photos. This data is not linked to your identity and is not used for tracking or advertising.
Our server (CenterOps) is hosted in the European Union, at Hetzner in Germany. Raw events are kept for up to 90 days and are then reduced to aggregated counts.
Purchases
Kolaj Pro purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your card or payment details. To manage your subscription status in the app, we use RevenueCat, a subscription management provider that processes the status of your purchase.
What we do not do
- No accounts. You do not sign up or log in.
- No ads.
- No third-party tracking SDKs.
- We do not sell your data.
Your rights
Under data protection laws such as the GDPR and the Turkish KVKK you have rights over your personal data, for example to ask what we hold about you and to ask for deletion. Because the usage data above is anonymous and not linked to you, we generally cannot tie it to a person. Data stored on your device is removed when you delete the app.

Children
Kolaj is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
